Mishell came to us from a broken home, unwanted by her mother. She looks very different from any of our other children. Mishell has very white skin and hazel eyes a stark contrast from the olive skin and dark eyes of the indigenous people of this area. We only discovered, after the pediatrician examined her, that she has a distinct heart murmur. She has been battling some lung problems and was in the hospital with pneumonia caused by a rather nasty MRSA. Mishell had heart surgery to close a PDA and since then has been flourishing. She is delayed but is getting therapy 5 days a week.
