Kruscaya “Kuka” came to Casa de Fe in August 2007. She has some form of epilepsy which causes her to fall to the ground, unconscious, sometimes with convulsions. She also has a lack of impulse control. Over the last 2 years we have gotten her convulsions under control and she attends the school for special needs children in Puyo. Sometimes she gets a stubborn streak and care has to be taken to make sure that she does not injure herself or others. Yet at other times she loves to exchange kisses and drinks in the attention. She is a wonderful child with a sweet but wild spirit.
