Just after Christmas 2006, a young father came to me with a very sad story. His wife and mother of 3 young sons died while giving birth to a baby girl. He says he can’t care for the boys and work and would Casa de Fe please take 2 of the boys. He also requested that we try to help him locate his daughter who he had never seen. We took in Edy and Romiro and went in search of the 5 month old baby girl. After locating Amanda in an orphanage in Quito she was transfered here to Shell. We cared for the 3 boys Edy, Romero and Moises for 2 years until the father remarried and felt he could care for his sons. We are still caring for Amanda.
